On June 11, the Guduo competition was held at the northern suburban in Lhasa during the 2nd Lhasa Sports Games and Traditional Ethnic Sports Games. 

“Guduo” is a Tibetan term referring to a traditional sport where participants throw stones tied to ropes. In traditional pastoral life, herders would use stones thrown over long distances to guide the movement direction of livestock while grazing, and also to drive away wild animals that might attack the herd.
