The 7th China Xizang Trans-Himalaya International Cycling Race opened at Potala Palace Square on the morning of Aug 1. The competition features five stages with a total distance of approximately 570.68 kilometers. The route passes through Nyingchi, Lhasa, Lhoka and Xigaze. Compared with the previous edition, the 2026 race has been comprehensively upgraded, featuring a longer route, better-designed courses and a stronger lineup.
