Recently, the China Tsangyang Gyatso Culture Academic Symposium was held in Lhasa, Xizang. Painter Tong Chengming said that Tsangyang Gyatso was a pioneer of humanism more than 300 years ago, and that the cultural heritage, literary achievements and artistic spirit he embodied continue to inspire profound admiration today. As an artist, Tong said he hopes to contribute to the inheritance and development of this cultural legacy in the contemporary era through his artistic practice.
