“Tonight’s performance, much like Tibetan culture itself, gave me great strength and a sense of healing,” said Long Jinyang. “I hope to go to the plateau myself one day, to experience its vast scenery and radiant culture.”
The culture week will use Tibetology expert lectures and intangible-heritage performances to present the achievements of cultural protection, inheritance and development of Tibetan culture in the new era. It offers young students from around the world a chance to encounter plateau culture up close, appreciate the great diversity of Chinese civilization, and inject youthful vitality into mutual understanding among youth of different countries and people-to-people connectivity between China and the world.
