The Hehuang Valley is awash in autumn colors, while excitement runs high on the football pitch. On October 17, the 2026 “Aid Qinghai Cup” Football Invitational opened at the football stadium of the Haidong Sports Center in Haidong, Qinghai Province. Three teams representing Xuzhou in Jiangsu Province; Taizhou in Zhejiang Province; and Liaocheng in Shandong Province—all cities providing counterpart assistance to Qinghai—joined the host team, Qinghai Haidong Tianyoude, in the Huangshui River Valley for this football event.

The two-day tournament also featured activities promoting quality products from Qinghai, demonstrations of hand-pulled noodle-making techniques, and experiences with traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine.

Using football as a platform, the “Aid Qinghai Cup” integrates sports with initiatives to promote ethnic unity and progress. Through interaction and exchange, the tournament aims to foster mutual understanding and bring people closer together, allowing the flower of ethnic unity to bloom and flourish across the Huangshui River Valley.
