Recently, the 2026 “Bringing Hearts Together” Medical Charity Campaign provided free clinic services in Batang County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Early in the morning, 73-year-old Tibetan woman Wang Minghua set out from her home and walked for more than an hour to reach the free clinic site at Batang County People’s Hospital. 

“The experts are excellent, so I came right away,” she said. At the clinic, medical experts carefully asked about the elderly woman’s medical history and conducted physical examinations, including auscultation. Doctors patiently explained how to take her medication, reminded her to manage her blood pressure properly and take medicine on time, and prescribed medications and provided relevant medicines free of charge. 

“This doctor is very good. I can understand him. He speaks slowly, so I can understand,” the elderly woman said with excitement. 

In Batang, Garze, the free medical service not only brought healthcare to local residents but also built an emotional bridge between doctors and patients, as well as among people of different ethnic groups.
