Yamdrok Lake has recently experienced a tourism boom. Under clear skies, its crystal-clear waters shimmer in shades of blue, attracting tourists from around the world. Many stop along the route between Lhasa and Yamdrok Lake to admire and photograph the breathtaking scenery of the plateau.
