The Yunnan children’s play A Fairy Tale in the Mountains and Forests was recently staged at the Beijing Comedy Theater as part of the 7th National Ethnic Minority Arts Performance.

Featuring more than a dozen classic original children’s music pieces with diverse art forms including dance and theater, the play portrays Yunnan’s ecological beauty and the harmony of interactions and exchanges among its ethnic groups in the new era from a childlike perspective.
