The 2026 Xizang Youth Fitness Promotion Event was held on April 8 in Nyainrong County, Nagqu City.
The event covered major primary and secondary schools across Nyainrong, attracting more than 3,800 young participants. Featuring more than 20 activities, the event included popular ball sports such as football, basketball and volleyball; trendy activities like roller skating, street dance and frisbee; mind sports such as Go, Tibetan chess, Chinese chess and Gomoku; as well as competitive activities including taekwondo and free combat.
