On April 24, a symposium on the publication and release of the book series Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Landscape Culture was held in Xining, Qinghai Province. As a major research project of the China Tibetology Research Center, the series systematically compiles authoritative knowledge on the landscape culture of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau for the first time, filling a gap in international scholarship on the subject.

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Landscape Culture Series, a massive collection of 18 titles spanning 24 volumes, is the result of over ten years of fieldwork and research. More than 400 scholars, researchers, and local cultural bearers contributed to the series, which is presented in both Chinese and Tibetan.
