The 18th Yellow Peony Tibetan Medicine Culture and Tourism Festival opened on May 28 in Mailing City, Nyingchi, Xizang, attracting numerous tourists and local residents. Mailing, which means “Land of Medicine” in Tibetan, is endowed with abundant Tibetan medicinal resources due to its favorable climate and ecological conditions. 

Vajra Rod Therapy was a major highlight at the Tibetan medicine experience area, drawing considerable attention from visitors. Practitioners applied techniques such as pressing, point stimulation, pushing, and kneading to specific acupoints on the body to promote the circulation of qi and blood, dispel cold, and eliminate dampness — attracting many visitors eager to observe and experience the therapy firsthand.
