Recently, the entrance examination for the 2026 Thorampa Advanced Academic Title Program of the High-level Tibetan Buddhism College of China was held at the Qinghai Tibetan Buddhist Academy, the designated examination center in Qinghai. A total of 26 monk candidates from the Gelug and Kagyu sects competed for admission to further their studies at China’s premier modern educational institution for Tibetan Buddhism, demonstrating a solid grounding in Buddhist scholarship built on years of rigorous and devoted study and practice.
