On May 1, students from the Snow Lotus Art Troupe of Xizang University staged a public-welfare cultural performance at the Weland Museum of Contemporary Art in Xizang, building a bridge between tradition and modernity. The performance unfolded in three segments—instrumental music, folk dance, and street dance—offering a multi-dimensional, lively portrait of Tibetan culture. Ranging from the timeless allure of White Face Tibetan Opera to the energetic local folk dances and the inventive fusion of diverse art forms, ancient Tibetan traditions were infused with fresh vitality in a contemporary art setting.
